Leys News welcomes submissions from all sectors of the community including schools, businesses, youth and community groups, individuals and public sector organisations.
FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPH or editorial submisisons to be considered for publication, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- All photographs must be of the highest quality possible and a minimum of 300 dpi. Images below this resolution will not reproduce properly in the paper and therefore cannot be used. If you have an idea for a photograph or would like to cover a specific event, please email editor@leysnews.co.uk for advice first.
- All ideas for stories and features should be emailed to editor@leysnews.co.uk in the first instance and we will get back to you if we would like you to cover the story.
- If you are sending in information or a press release from a community group or local business, please ensure that you do not embed photographs or graphics into the word document as these have to be emailed to us as jpegs. We cannot use images unless they are sent as individual files.
- All written submissions should be written in arial tyepface 12 point size and double spaced. If you are interested in writing for us and joining our team of community journalists please email us and we will send you the relevant information. We also have a very useful style sheet to help anyone who would like to send us a story or feature for Leys News. Please ensure that everything you send to us has your name and contact details clearly visible so that we can get in touch!
We look forward to hearing from you!
